# H/M AI Transparency Label Builder

Free browser-local decision aid for mapping selected deployment facts to likely transparency paths under Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

## What it does

- Preserves uncertainty across six Article 50(1)-(5) decision paths.
- Separates the limited Article 50(2) pre-market transition to 2026-12-02 from the general 2026-08-02 application date.
- Drafts visible AI interaction, emotion/biometric, deepfake and public-interest text disclosures in English, Spanish or Chinese.
- Produces an implementation evidence queue without a compliance score.
- Prepares an unsigned JSON authoring view for the C2PA 2.4 `c2pa.ai-disclosure` field shape.
- Exports a local `hm.ai-transparency-pack.v1` JSON or Markdown pack.
- Creates a privacy-minimized `hm.ai-transparency-receipt.v1` share receipt, URL-fragment link and local PNG card.

## Privacy

Questionnaire answers, names and model identifiers remain in the current browser tab. The only network request made by the application runtime is an optional aggregate metric with a fixed event identifier. Raw answers and entered identifiers are not included in metrics. Local exports intentionally include identifiers entered by the user. Share receipts omit answers and user-entered identifiers. Their URL fragment is not sent in the HTTP request, but a shared URL can remain in browser history.

## Boundaries

This tool does not provide legal advice, inspect a deployment, determine exceptions finally, verify a production mark or certify compliance. Its C2PA output is not CBOR serialized, not a C2PA Manifest or Content Credential, not signed, not cryptographically bound to an asset, not crJSON and not independently verifiable. A share receipt checksum detects inconsistent bytes only; it does not authenticate an issuer or prevent a sender from recomputing a changed receipt.
