## Scope

This free ledger maps all 28 entries in the official MCP draft changelog from the stable 2025-11-25 specification to the locked 2026-07-28 release candidate. It groups nine major changes, twelve minor changes, four deprecations, one schema correction, one governance update and one process update.

The browser interface supports English, Spanish and Simplified Chinese, accent-insensitive search, role filters and local JSON or Markdown migration briefs.

## Release boundary

- Verified against the official candidate sources on 2026-07-21.
- The 2026-07-28 target is a locked release candidate, not a final specification.
- The final specification is expected on 2026-07-28.
- The ledger does not run a server, client, SDK or conformance suite.
- It does not certify compatibility.

## Privacy

- Filtering and brief generation run in the browser.
- No source code, project name, repository, endpoint or credential is requested.
- Exported briefs contain selected public change IDs and official-source summaries only.
- Aggregate product metrics use fixed action IDs and never include search text or selected content.
