No. The selected file is processed in the visitor's browser. The widget does not upload the source file or use browser storage.

Does a Content Credentials result prove media is true or false?

No. The check reports available provenance evidence. It does not determine factual truth, deception or whether media was AI-generated.

Can the widget be embedded on another website?

Yes. It is designed for external documentation and guides. The embed manifest documents supported languages, local processing and limits.
