1. Extract claims before searching
Break the answer into statements that can be checked independently. A broad conclusion often hides numbers, dates, comparisons and causal claims that require different evidence.
2. Prioritize what can expire
Review prices, current office holders, availability, rules, medicine, finance and safety first. An old source can be accurate for its date and wrong for today's decision.
3. A citation is not support
Open the source, locate the exact passage and confirm that it supports the full wording. A title, familiar domain or search snippet does not prove a claim.
4. Preserve contradiction and uncertainty
Record evidence for, evidence against and what remains missing. Use supported, contradicted or unclear; do not force a verdict when the evidence is incomplete.
5. Export a reproducible packet
Claim Map creates local JSON and Markdown with the input SHA-256, visible signals, sources and notes. The packet does not turn manual review into certified truth.

No. Analysis runs in the browser. Claim text leaves only when you explicitly open an external search.
