What this checker can see
It flags statements that deserve a source first: exact numbers, dates, current rules, universal wording, causal explanations, named studies and citations that are present but not clearly connected to the claim.
Five phrases that deserve a source
Pause at every, always, never, guaranteed, safe for everyone, latest, official, 100%, according to a study and exact percentage. These words are not proof of an error; they are efficient places to begin verification.
A citation is not the same as support
Open the cited source and find the passage that supports the complete sentence. A real domain, a plausible title or a search snippet can still fail to support the number, date, comparison or conclusion beside it.
Use the local checker in three steps
Paste the answer, choose a review depth and inspect the claims ranked for verification. Add the source you actually read, mark support or contradiction, then export a small evidence packet for your own records.
What it cannot decide
This is not an AI detector, truth oracle or legal, medical or financial adviser. A local signal only tells you where human or primary-source review is most useful; it does not turn an unchecked answer into a verified fact.
Share a receipt, not private text
The result share link contains summary counts and a short input fingerprint, not the original question or answer. This lets you show that a review happened without publishing private text.
Frequently asked questions
Hogar Mas · hogarmas.net
Does an AI hallucination checker prove an answer is false?
No. It highlights verification pressure such as numbers, current claims, absolute wording and citation gaps. You still need to inspect an appropriate source.
Does this tool upload my ChatGPT answer?
No. The Claim Map analysis runs in the browser. Text leaves the page only if you explicitly open an external search or share a summary receipt.
Can it detect whether ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini wrote the answer?
No. It reviews the claims inside the answer and does not identify the author or model.
